The Christopher Group Places VP of OD at IMC Trading

CHICAGO, IL – IMC Trading, one of the world’s most active proprietary trading firms in the world, has appointed MaryBeth Mongillo as their new Vice President of Organizational Development. This critical search was led by Managing Director, Nat Schiffer, and Managing Partner, Tobin Anselmi.

MaryBeth Mongillo, as VP of Learning and Organizational Development, will report to the Head of HR and will be responsible for the strategic vision and tactical execution of office-wide learning and development programs that help nurture, develop, and enhance the company’s employees’ ability to perform both now and in the future. Leah’s role has high impact and visibility, offering a unique opportunity to help shape their OD strategy, define career pathways, and develop L&D plans. MaryBeth will have the opportunity to lead and contribute to talent initiatives in three main areas: learning, leadership development, and change management.

“IMC Trading has an incredibly high bar for talent and innovation,” said Nat Schiffer. “To say that we are proud to assist in making this placement would be an understatement.  Not all searches and their degree of difficulty are created equally, we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver with very discerning clients.”

MaryBeth brings a strong track record at companies such as Factor5 Consulting, Dell Technologies, Raytheon, and Hughes Aircraft. Her experiences in both internal and external consulting are sure to be a plus in the new position.

About IMC Trading

IMC was founded in 1989 by two traders working on the floor of the Amsterdam Equity Options Exchange. While today’s industry is highly automated, back then trading was executed on the exchange floor by traders manually calculating the price to buy or sell. IMC was among the first to spot the importance of technology and innovation in the evolution of market-making and invested early, helping shape the future of trading. That entrepreneurial spirit and innovative culture still drive IMC, which stands for International Marketmaker’s Combination. In 30 years, they have grown internationally, trading primarily on the basis of data and algorithms, and using its execution platform to provide liquidity to financial markets globally.
