Alcon is pleased to announce the placement of Carolyn Whiteman as their new head of Human Resources, Global Manufacturing, Technical Operations & Quality, Vision Care. In this role, Carolyn will identify, ensure alignment on, and implement HR strategies and people processes that address both the strategic and operational needs of the business.
Most recently, Carolyn was the Human Resources Manager at Shell Oil Company where she supported the Research and Development Group, Safety, Technology IT, and (4) catalyst manufacturing plants. Carolyn has held this role along with many other Senior Human Resources leadership roles with Shell Oil Company and Ingersoll Rand over the years. She holds a Masters of Science Degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from University of Illinois and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from University of Texas of Austin.
