Allison Transmission Selects TCG for Executive Director, Human Resources Search

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Allison Transmission, the world’s largest manufacturer of fully automatic transmissions for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, has selected The Christopher Group to lead their Executive Director, Human Resources search. Managing Director, Pam Noble, and Recruiting Manager, Morgan Booker, are leading the critical HR search.

The Executive Director, Human Resources serves as a key member of the supported functions Leadership Team, and the Human Resource Leadership Team reporting to the Chief People Officer. This high touch, high visibility role will have a global reach and influencing responsibility for over 50% of Allison Transmission’s headcount, including their Indianapolis, Tennessee, India, and Hungary manufacturing locations. This position collaborates with the functional Executive Management Teams to ensure alignment with business strategy, translating into workforce planning solutions and drives organizational effectiveness and development. This position will build relationships with VP and senior-level clients as a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs, proactively recommends solutions, and influences accordingly.
