Biography

Jim is a Managing Partner at The Christopher Group, one of the largest boutique HR executive search firms. Jim brings a breadth and depth of knowledge with more than 30 years of experience in the field, enabling him to uniquely provide counsel and insight to TCG’s many valued clients and candidates.

Prior to starting at TCG, Jim was the Chief Operating Officer for a Cleveland based Agile software consultancy, LeanDog, where he led fully integrated Operations including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and Strategic Account Development across four service lines using Agile and Lean methodologies. Jim was also a partner, company officer, and Board member. Prior to LeanDog, he opened up a consulting and recruiting firm specializing in Agile and Lean consulting and IT placement. Prior to that venture, Jim spent over two decades at Progressive Insurance rising through the ranks from software developer to Group Manager. During his time as a group manager, Jim was a strategic leader on a $385 million dollar project that utilized Agile development methodologies.

Jim is a graduate of Cleveland State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer and Information Science. Jim, his wife Susan and their three children reside in Mentor, Ohio
