With over a decade of experience spanning human resources and business development, Doug Karo is deeply committed to helping organizations forge high-performing teams. Recently, he embarked on a new chapter as a Recruiting Manager at The Christopher Group. In this role, Doug leverages his expertise to lead recruitment efforts, ensuring that organizations find the talent necessary to drive success. His mission at The Christopher Group aligns seamlessly with his passion for shaping dynamic teams and supporting organizational growth.

Prior to joining The Christopher Group, Doug held significant roles at various recruitment firms. At Korn Ferry, he served as a Senior Human Resources Recruiter, where he championed the evolution of HR from a cost center to a revenue generator. His strategic acumen was instrumental in aligning tactical tasks with broader organizational objectives amidst the ever-changing landscape of work. Before Korn Ferry, Doug’s career journey included stints as a Business Development Representative at Eastridge Workforce Solutions, an Executive Recruiter at MRI Network Global Search, and a Human Resources Consultant at Paychex. With each role, he honed his expertise in sourcing top talent, driving client acquisitions, and fostering growth across competitive markets.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Doug is a dedicated family man, husband, and proud father of three girls, all residing in San Diego, CA. Outside of work, Doug is an avid lifelong supporter of the Padres, and he’s also an avid runner, constantly improving his pace in half marathons.
